Notes from Cathy: Emerging from Covid Isolation into Healing Connection at the 2022 LPTI Psychodrama Intensive

Twelve participants joined guest trainer, Linda Ciotola, trained auxiliary ego, Will Halm, and me to co-create the LPTI Psychodrama Intensive, March 10-14. After having to cancel last year, the team was excited to be able to meet in person at Blue Mountain Retreat Center in Western Maryland. Our host, Blue Mountain proprietor, chef extraordinaire and massage therapist, Beth Ehrhardt, provided all the comforts of home and more–delicious, nutritious family-style meals, relaxing facilities and grounds, and on-request massage therapy sessions.

Health and Wellness Testimonial

A Noninvasive Way to Improve Health and Wellness:  More Energy, Better Exercise Recovery, Faster Recovery from Injuries, Pain Relief, and more.

Two summers ago, I fell in the middle of the night in a dark room – a large metal candle holder knocked me over and severed the vein on top of my foot.  To put it mildly, it was bloody.  After the wound was dressed, I called a friend the next morning (Mary Perry) who said, “I’m coming over to patch you up.”  I had no idea what she meant.  I figured I was already patched up.  She arrived at my home with acupressure / phototherapy small round patches.  She explained to me that she brought some to speed the healing by increasing the activity of the stem cells (X39) and she brought Ice Waves for pain relief.  As she was applying these she advised me to stay very well hydrated and told me her own story of how she got back pain relief from these patches.  Much to my surprise I experienced an almost immediate relief from pain (I was not taking any pain medicine neither prescribed nor over the counter).  The cut healed in 4 days.

After I returned to teaching my yoga and aerobic classes, I continued to wear the X39 patch and noticed a significant improvement in my exercise recovery time as well as improved mental clarity.  I continue to wear the X39 daily and still experience these benefits.  If you would like to know more about the Lifewave patches; how they work, and a variety of different options simply go to  www.lifewave.com/healingbridges

Honoring the ‘front line’ – “Shining Thru”

Dear Readers ,
This week there is something to listen to rather than to read . My dear friend Alison Gatwood who spent decades teaching music to thousands of students in school (as well as private piano lessons – it was thru taking private piano lessons with her that we met and became friends ) composed a song called “Shining Through” 25 years ago to celebrate my husband Joe and my 25 th wedding anniversary . After hearing of his work as Health Officer & EMS Medical Director during this pandemic she re-worked that song to honor him and thank him and other of our family members -and all those on the ‘front lines’- for their service and sacrifice.

Coping Through Hard Times

This week I am posting this excellent source of info and inspiration from my dear friend and colleague from Maine , Kathy Amsden . Kathy is a licensed social worker and certified psychodramatist as well as a gifted singer / songwriter . She works in the field of home hospice and palliative care . If you are interested in obtaining one of a remaining handful of CDs of her album “Awakening”, contact me by email and I will see what I can do 😊Blessings of health , peace , serenity and love to all , Linda
